Why We Built This
Your cloud bill jumps. The number is obvious. The cause is not.
We've been in those rooms. At a mining company in APAC, watching engineers scramble with no tooling to help them. At a ride-hailing company, seeing FinOps teams burn weeks hunting idle resources by hand. At a music tech company, watching developers hesitate because they could not see the cost impact of what they shipped.
We kept seeing the same thing. Cost tools showed the bill. Security tools showed the alert. Neither told teams what actually happened, why it happened, or what to fix first.
CostObserver is a SecFinOps platform that helps engineering teams understand why cloud costs spike by connecting billing data, security signals, and resource behaviour.
